Gwalior: In Madhya Pradesh, Union Minister of Road transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of seven National Highway projects costing over 1128 crore rupees in Gwalior. The total length of these projects are 222 kilometers.

Addressing the function, Mr Gadkari announced that elevated road of both the phases on Swarn Rekha in Gwalior city will be constructed with state-of-the-art new technology from Malaysia. He further announced that the 6-lane Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway would be connected to



Yamuna Expressway and a logistics park would also be set up along the Agra-Gwalior Expressway.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar and Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were present in the program. Considering the geographical importance of Madhya Pradesh in connecting the network of highways, impementation of these projects will facilitate movement and save fuel.
