Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks against India's Vaccination policy and termed it as insensitive & baseless. He said, the Congress party is trying to thrive on the grounds of fear and attacked the opposition party for continuously doubting the country's capability to handle the situation. Criticising Mr. Gandhi, for calling out the Government's COVID management strategy as drama, the BJP leader advised him to suggest Congress ruled states to make proper utilisation of Ventilators and medical

equipment provided to them by the Centre.

Mr. Javadekar informed that the Centre has so far provided over 22 crore COVID vaccine doses to the States and the Union Territories totally free of cost. He also informed that the Union Health Ministry has already chalked out a plan to vaccinate over 100 crore people by the end of this year. Highlighting the success of India's largest & fastest vaccination programme, Mr. Javadekar asserted that the Centre is leaving no stones unturned to scale up procurement & manufacture of COVID vaccines in the country.
