Union Minister Vijay Goel inaugurates conference on Youth Development

Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Vijay Goel today inaugurated the Conference on Youth Development in Delhi. 

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Goel emphasized on the efficiency of youth and how it can be utilised for the development of the country. He urged youth to perform to the best of their ability in various sectors like community development, education, social justice and entrepreneurship among others. 

The Youth Development conference was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and National Yuva Kendra



Sangathan.AK Dubey, Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Major General Dilawar singh, DG, National Youth Kendra Sangathan were present among other dignitaries. Suggestions from delegates from various sectors were invited during the deliberations. 

Recommendations included creation of youth skill database throughout the country, emphasis on preventive health care to increase productivity were some of suggestions. Many NGOs, companies and organizations working in the area of youth development and youth policy participated in the conference.
