As part of Centre's special Public Outreach Programme in Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of ten Union Ministers will visit different blocks of various districts today. They will inaugurate several developmental projects, besides holding public interactions throughout the day.
Over a period of almost a week, more than 30 Union ministers have visited across length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir to disseminate information about various developmental projects and welfare initiatives of the government, particularly after the reorganization of J&K into two Union territories.
Today, the ministers are visiting Miran Saheb, Bishnah, Bhomag, Thrakot, Makote and Ramban blocks in Jammu, whereas, G. Kishen Reddy, Ravi Shanker Prasad and Shripad Nayak are
visiting Manigam Ganderbal, Bramulla and Srinagar in Kashmir division. Those visiting Jammu division include Purushottam Rupala, Renuka Singh, Angadi Suresh, Som Prakash, Sushree Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Faggan Singh and Rameshwar Teli.
The visit of ministers has seen a positive response so far, even as Mukhtar Abbass Naqvi claiming that J&K is seeing a positive change on ground, saying government will make sincere efforts to further spread this positivity and involve people in democratic and developmental process. Today, the ministers have a busy schedule with engagements related to inaugurations of different projects, besides propagating welfare initiatives of the central government in their public interactions.
