Several Union Ministers and NDA leaders yesterday visited BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital after they sustained injuries amid protest and counter-protest by the ruling BJP and opposition members.
Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Pralhad Joshi, Jual Oram, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and B L Verma visited the hospital and took stock of the health condition of Both MPs.
BJP MPs Ravi Shankar Prasad, Arun Singh, Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, and Aparajita Sarangi, TDP MP Appalanaidu Kalisetti also met the MPs at the hospital.

Superintendent of RML Hospital, Dr Ajay Shukla said, both MPs have sustained head injuries. He said, the situation is being monitored. Dr Shukla said, Mr Rajput’s blood pressure is still high. He said, Mr Sarangi is an elderly person and when there is pushing and shoving, the BP could shoot up. Dr Shukla said, this could lead to a heart arrest or stroke. He said, Sarangi had been a cardiac patient and they are evaluating the situation.
Talking to the media, Mr. Sarangi had alleged that Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, pushed an MP, who fell on him, after which he got injured.
