UoH student attempts suicide by falling from third floor

A student of University of Hyderabad here allegedly attempted suicide by jumping from the third floor of his hostel building on the university campus after Monday midnight, the police said. A statement from UoH officials said Birbal “fell down” from third floor of his hostel building around 12.30 a.m. on Tuesday. Birbal Koizora, second-year student of five-year integrated course of Language Sciences, was admitted to a corporate hospital at Gachchibowli. On hearing sound, inmates of the hostel rushed out and found him lying on the floor with multiple fractures. They first shifted him to the medical room on the campus and then to a private hospital in Gachchibowli.
