LUCKNOW : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has lifted the ban on the manufacture and sale of 'paan masala'. Govt has also reiterated the ban on sale of 'gutka' and tobacco.

As per the UP govt authorities the request is for plain paan masala as it were. The prohibition on the assembling, stockpiling and offer of tobacco and without nicotine skillet masala/gutkha in the state will proceed with unaltered.
