Lucknow: In a major relief to parents, the Yogi Adityanath government on Monday ordered all schools in Uttar Pradesh not to raise the fees in the wake of novel coronavirus pandemic.
Rajesh Kumar, Special Secretary, in a request, said that as Covid-19 has been reported as a catastrophe, and to battle the spread of the pandemic, an across the nation lockdown has been declared, because of which the pay of numerous guardians over the state likewise has been influenced.
"It is requested to all the schools
of all sheets in the express that there will be no climb in school expenses for the 2020-21 meeting or some other sort of climb in confirmation charges," he said.
He said that the schools need to follow the charge structure of 2019-20 meeting and in the event that any school has gathered climbed expenses from the guardians, at that point they have to change the sum in one month from now expense.
On Monday, the total number of Covid-19 cases in state rose to 1,955 with 31 people losing their lives so far.
