Uttar Pradesh government will develop an industrial City between Jhansi and Kanpur on an area of around 36 thousand acres to boost the industrial development in the region. Announcing this in an event in Lucknow yesterday,
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the city will get a special airport also. He said that Uttar Pradesh has become the dream destination for investors now and his government will break all barriers to facilitate all kinds of help and support to the investors and entrepreneurs who want to invest in the
state.
The Chief Minister also distributed incentives of about rupees 1300 crores to over two dozen industrial units. Additionally, Letters of Comfort certificates were distributed for 28 investment proposals worth Rs 10,715 crore, with the Chief Minister personally handing out certificates to 10 proposals involving investments exceeding Rs 4500 crore. This is the first time that a special programme has been organised to distribute incentives to the state’s industrial projects set up over the years.
