UP govt to hold cabinet meeting at Kumbh Mela City in Prayagraj

The Uttar Pradesh Government will hold its cabinet meeting  at Kumbh Mela City in Prayagraj today. This will be the first meeting of state cabinet which is taking place outside  the  capital Lucknow.The meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Prayagraj Mela Authority office near Sangam. 

 

Before the cabinet meeting Chief Minister and members of council of minster will visit darshan Akshayvat and Saraswati Koop at Mela area.

Kumbh Mela is witnessing several political activities also besides routine religious and spiritual events. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and members of his cabinet would be here today. State cabinet meeting will be held at 11 am in which it is expected that government would discuss and approve some major policy decisions. Yesterday Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan visited Sangam and  former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav  had earlier come on Sunday.
