UP-MLC Election: BJP candidates to file their nomination papers today

Bharatiya Janata Party candidates will file their nomination papers today for biennial polls of State legislative council. Today is the last day of filling nominations. A BJP spokesperson told  that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Party’s State President Mahendra Nath Pandey and BJP general secretary Sunil Bansal along with many state ministers will be present during the filing of nominations. 

Party announced its list of 10 candidates for state legislative council elections yesterday. The



Candidates include two state ministers - Mahendra Singh and Mohsin Raza, turncoats Yashwant Singh, Sarojini Agrawal, Bukkal Nawab, Thakur Jaiveer Singh and party organization functionaries Vidya Sagar Sonkar, Vijay Bahadur Pathak, Ashok Dhawan and Ashok Katariya. 

Biennial election for 13 seats is being held in the state.

Scrutiny of nominations will be done on April 17. The last date for withdrawal of the candidature is April 19.
