UP Police arrest 5 in connection with youth’s murder in Bahraich

Uttar Pradesh Police yesterday arrested five people in connection with the murder of a youth in Bahraich district on October 13. The names of the three accused, Mohammed Sarfaraz, Mohammed Fahim, and Abdul Hamid, were mentioned in the FIR filed in the case of the murder of the youth, Ram Gopal Mishra. Mohammed Sarfaraz, along with one Mohammad Taleem, was arrested after an encounter by a police team in the Nanpara area, which is close to the Nepal



border. 

The SP of Bahraich, Vrinda Shukla, said that both accused, injured in the encounter, were planning to escape to Nepal. Both injured accused have been admitted to the hospital. The police have already taken 25 to 30 people into custody in connection with the incident of violence that occurred in the Hardi area of Bahraich district during Durga Visarjan.
