US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West meets NSA Ajit Doval

New Delhi: Newly appointed US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West, visited New Delhi yesterday and called on National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Harsh V Shringla.

Sources said, the discussions focussed on the current developments in Afghanistan. The topics included the recently held Regional Security Dialogue of National Security Advisors on Afghanistan in New Delhi,



movement of people in and out of Afghanistan, coordinating global efforts on humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, regional security issues and other bilateral and international issues of mutual interest.

In a tweet, MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, Mr West and Mr Shringla exchanged views on recent developments and issues of common interest in Afghanistan.
