Uttar Pradesh budget session begins today

The month-long budget session of Uttar Pradesh legislature will begin today. Governor Ram Naik will address to the joint sitting of both the houses. The government is scheduled to present the budget for the next fiscal on February 16. This will be the first full-fledged budget of the Yogi Adityanath government which came to power last year.



Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit yesterday convened an all-party meeting seeking their cooperation for smooth conduct of the session. It was attended by leaders from all major political parties. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and leader of opposition Ram Govind Chaudhry were among those who attended the meeting.
