Uttar Pradesh Government to present budget for financial year 2023-24 today

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Government will present its budget for financial year 2023-24 today. Finance minister of the state Suresh Khanna will present the budget in the state legislative assembly at 11 am. It is expected that the budget will focus on development, youth, women and farmers. The debate on motion of thanks to governor’s address will also begin today



after presentation of the annual budget.

The state government presented an annual budget of 6.15 lakh crore rupees on 26 May 2022. A supplementary budget of around 33,770 crore rupees was presented on 5th December 2022, taking the total size of the UP budget in 2022-2023 to 6.50 lakh crore rupees.
