Uttarakhand: 60% voting recorded for Municipal bodies

In Uttarakhand, voting was conducted peacefully in 100 municipal bodies yesterday amid tight security arrangements. More than 60 per cent of voting was recorded in the state as per the latest report. The fate of a total of 5 thousand 405 candidates has been sealed in the ballot boxes. Counting of votes will be held on January



25th.

Voters in Uttarakhand voted enthusiastically for the municipal body’s election today. There were long queues outside the booths across the State. Tight security arrangements were made at the polling centres. One thousand 515 polling centres and 3 thousand 394 booths were made in the state for voting.
