The BJP legislators will meet today in the presence of party’s central observers to decide the new Chief Minister of the State. BJP Sate President Ajay Bhatt has asked all 57 BJP MLAs to be present in Dehradun today for the meeting.
The BJP got won 57 seats in the 70-member Assembly.The oath-taking ceremony of the Chief Minister along with his Cabinet colleagues will take place tomorrow.The State BJP continues to maintain suspense over its chief ministerial candidate by first announcing the date for the oath taking ceremony
and much later the date for the BJP legislatures party meeting.
However, things would be clear only when party’s legislators vent their views on the issue in front of the party observers today. The final call will be taken by BJP president Amit Shah who has been authorized by the party’s Parliamentary Board to take a decision.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National president Amit Shah and other leaders of the party will attend the oath taking ceremony.
