Uttarakhand celebrates 23rd Foundation Day today

Uttarakhand is celebrating its 23rd Foundation Day today, November 9. It was on this day in 2000, that Uttarakhand was created by carving out from Uttar Pradesh. Various programs are being organized in the state to celebrate State Foundation

Day.

The main event will be held at the police line in Dehradun, which will be attended by President Draupadi Murmu. For the first time in 23 years, President will participate in Uttarakhand's Foundation Day programme.
