Vaghela appointed as new Gujarat NCP president

Former Gujarat Chief Minister Shanker Sinh Vaghela has been appointed as the new state president of Nationalist Congress Party, NCP, in the state.

Earlier, 78-year-old Mr. Vaghela had been inducted in the party as its national general



secretary.

NCP president Sharad Pawar issued a letter to Mr. Vaghela in this regard.  Mr. Vaghela would replace Mr. Jayant Patel Boski who has now been elevated as the national general secretary of the party.
