Kakinada: The Vande Bharat Express train stopped at Eluru Railway Station from Sunday. Eluru Lok Sabha member Putta Mahesh Kumar Yadav has submitted a representation to railway minister Aswini Vaishnav for halting the Vande Bharat Train at Eluru. The railways has agreed to halt the express train at Eluru. On Sunday, housing minister K. Pardha Saradhi and Putta Mahesh Kumar Yadav flagged off the train. Pardha Saradhi said that there is a huge demand at Eluru for the Vande Bharat Express as the Eluru and West Godavari districts are prominent for industrial and aqua sectors, and the people of these districts are going
to Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad in large numbers frequently, and the train is most useful for them.
MP Mahesh Kumar thanked the railway minister, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and the education minister N. Lokesh for cooperating with the people’s demands. MLAs Chintamaneni Prabhakar, Roshan Kumar, Badeti Radhakrishna (Chanti), the additional divisional railway manager P.E. Edwin, senior D.E.E. T. Suresh, senior DOM Satya Swaroop, senior DSTE Md. Ali Khan, former MLAs G. Murali Krishna, G. Veeranjaneyulu, and others were present.
