Venkaiah Naidu bid farewell to retiring members of Rajya Sabha

Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu felicitated the members retiring from the Upper House at an event held at Parliament House complex yesterday. 

Extending his best wishes to them, Mr Naidu said, they are retiring but not tiring. 

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that



their experiences in the House will be beneficial for the society.He said, the contribution of the retiring members will continue in the development of the country. 

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, BJP Veteran L K Advani and several Union Ministers and Parliamentarians were present on the occasion.
