Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) in New Delhi to enquire about the health of Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. The Senior BJP leader is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team of doctors.
In a tweet, the Vice President said, doctors have informed him that Mr Jaitley is responding to the treatment and his condition is stable. Mr Naidu
also met the family members of Mr Jaitley at the hospital. AIIMS in a statement said, the former Union Minister, who was admitted to the hospital yesterday, is haemodynamically stable.
Last evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla visited the hospital to enquire about the health of Mr Jaitley.
