Vice Chancellor's to be appointed by April 16

Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari assured that all the vacant positions of Vice Chancellors in various universities of Telangana would be filled up by April 16. While giving reply to short discussion on the educational system in the State in Legislative Council on Tuesday, the Minister said that a ‘search committee’ would be formed for filling up vacant positions of Vice Chancellors in various



universities. 

He informed that the government would be calling a meeting of all stakeholders including, teachers, legislatures and intellectuals for resolving the matter. “The State government is committed to adopting a new educational policy for attaining the vision of ‘Golden Telangana’. We shall be filling all the vacant positions of VCs by April 16,” he said.
