Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be on a two-day visit to Maharashtra beginning today. Mr. Dhankhar will inaugurate the programme for the establishment of Constitution Temples at 434 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state through video conferencing tomorrow.
The function will be held at Elphinstone Technical College in Mumbai. The Constitution Temples
have been designed to educate students about the importance and sanctity of the Constitution of India and to disseminate the ideas and thoughts of the father of the Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna, Dr. BR Ambedkar. The Vice-President will then proceed to Nagpur on the same day, where he will inaugurate the Digital Tower at Ramdeobaba University.
