Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will arrive in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, today. The vice-president’s engagements include laying the foundation of a university, interacting with students and unveiling of a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the Governor’s residence.

During his two-day visit to Gangtok beginning today, Vice President



M. Venkaiah Naidu is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of Kanchendzonga State University at Tarku in South Sikkim virtually from Samman Bhavan.

Mr Naidu will also interact with students from Sikkim who were evacuated from Ukraine before inaugurating a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Raj Bhavan.
