Elections in India have some extraordinary sights when it comes to people arriving at the polling booths to vote. Brides and grooms casting their vote before they get married, and people aged 100 and above exercising their franchise are among the few such examples in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

An unusual scene was seen in Maharashtra on Friday (Apr 26) where a voter, along with his monkey, arrived at a polling booth to vote. Visuals from the news agency ANI

showed Wardha resident Vinod Kshirsagar arriving at a polling booth with his Langur named 'Bajrang', to cast his vote.
