Vijay Rupani next Gujarat CM

Gujarat BJP President Vijay Rupani will be the new Chief Minister of the state. Health Minister Nitin Patel has been named Deputy Chief Minister. The two leaders will meet Governor at 11 this morning in connection with forming a new government in the



state. 

Mr Rupani was elected leader of BJP Legislature Party in Gandhinagar Friday. 

BJP’s Central Observer Nitin Gadkari said after the meeting that the decision was taken by the party MLAs unanimously and through a democratic process.
