Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to begin in Delhi today

New Delhi: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will start in Delhi from today. The Yatra will be flagged off by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena in the presence of Delhi MPs and senior officials.

The objective of the Yatra is to disseminate information and create awareness about the various welfare schemes launched by the central government for the people. Under the Yatra, Information and Communication vans will travel across the 11 districts of Delhi and cover more than 600 locations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the Yatra on 15th of this month.

Yatra has been started to create awareness and ensure Jan Bhagidari in the developmental and welfare schemes.

Under the campaign on spot camps like PM Svanidhi Camp, Health Camp, Ayushman Card camp, Aadhar updation Camp, PM Ujjwala Camp at various locations of Delhi will be organized by urban local bodies and district administration. The objective of the Yatra is not only to disseminate information but also learn from the citizens by interacting with beneficiaries of welfare schemes. During the Yatra, people will be able to share their experiences-Meri Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ and participate in on spot Quiz Competition.
