The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues its journey in the rural belts across Kerala and Lakshadweep, informing and empowering citizens about the Central Government's flagship schemes, people are turning out in large numbers especially women folks and farmers and many are happily sharing their success stories.
One such beneficiary Abdul Salam from Kannur district shared his experience to Akashvani News, on the way his life transformed by availing the benefits of the Kisan Credit Card
scheme."I am Abdul Salam.I am from a village called Matool, in Kannur district in Kerala.I was a computer professional and I worked abroad. After I returned from abroad, I started agriculture farming, for that I took a loan under the Kisan credit card scheme. 3 lakhs I have taken. I am regularly repaying the loan.I started dragon fruit farming .
Initially, I started dragon fruit farming and it was found very successful and after that I started other exotic fruit farming, which is going very well now.I am happy with that. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has emerged as a powerful campaign that is reaching the unreached.
