Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Diwakar Reddy created ruckus at Vishakapatnam airport on Thursday morning after he was denied a boarding pass upon late arrival. The episode has haunted Union Civil Aviation Minister and party colleague Ashok Gajapathi Raju.
Raju, who was at Vishakapatnam airport on Thursday morning when Reddy was throwing tantrums demanding that he be allowed to board IndiGo flight 6E 608 despite arriving late for check-in, is alleged to have facilitated the arrogant
MP's entry on the flight finally.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju vehemently denied the same when contacted . He also confirmed he has sought an incident report in the matter. "I will get the entire incident at Vizag Airport enquired into to find out the exact details and ensure that lawful outcomes follow," the minister tweeted today morning.
CCTV footage of the episode shows TDP MP Diwakar Reddy yelling at the airline staff, manhandling them and also threatening to damage equipment.
