In Madhya Pradesh, all political parties including the BJP and the Congress have put their full strength in the election campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi including many star campaigners are campaigning in favour of BJP candidates. Today many Union Ministers including the Union Finance Minister will participate in the campaign.
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra and Party national president Mallikarjun Kharge are leading the Party campaign. Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party and local parties are also contacting voters in their areas of influence.
In Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, there are five such unique seats out of 230 seats in the state where a third language is also being used. The final voter list for 230
assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh was published on October 4. Of these, there are five such special assembly constituencies where voters will get to read their and candidate's names in Hindi and English as well as in Urdu as the third language.
Of these five specific seats in Madhya Pradesh, four are in Bhopal and one is in Burhanpur district. Apart from the voter list, the names of the candidates will also be in all three languages on the ballot unit of the EVMs. The number of such polling booths in Bhopal is more than one thousand.
Voting will be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17th November and counting of votes will take place on 3rd December. There are 2 thousand 533 candidates in the fray in the state.
