Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that India today is known in the world as a country that is not dependent on others. Addressing an event at the Central University of Rajasthan in Ajmer yesterday, the Vice President said that the country’s economic growth has been tremendous over the last decade.
Referring to the goal of making the country a developed nation by 2047, Mr. Dhankhar emphasized that every citizen needs to contribute and make efforts to achieve this goal. The University
organized a dialogue program on the role of ‘Higher Education in Developed India @ 2047’.
Talking about sustainable development, he said that there is no planet other than Earth where people can live, so everyone should protect it and restore it to mitigate climate change. Mr. Dhankhar said that education is changing the social scenario in the country and stated that it’s inconceivable to envision a developed nation in 2047 without quality education.
