Vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar gave a clarion call for transformation and collective action to save the planet for future generations.
Addressing the valedictory session of the RE Invest global meet at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar yesterday, the Vice president said it is the responsibility of every individual to contribute for the conservation of the planet in order to ensure that we pass on the worthy habitable planet to our future generations.
Mr Dhankhar said India is on the rise and will continue to rise in time ahead. He emphasised on the transformation the country has witnessed at
ground level. Stressing upon the need for innovation and new ways to tackle the menace of climate change, the vice president lauded the wide efforts being taken by India for climate conservation.
The Vice president called youths as epicentre of change, and referred to the huge opportunities renewable energy sector offers to the youths. He urged youths to join hands with government to save the planet.
Union minister of New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were present on the occasion.
