VP Venkaiah Naidu pays tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his Jayanti

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today paid tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his Jayanti. In a tweet, Mr Naidu said, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was known for his courage, valor, warfare strategies, progressive outlook, respect for women and for his exemplary character. He said, the reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj exemplifies the pride of Indian History.

The Vice President further said, teaching the



younger generation about the great qualities of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be the best way to pay tributes to him.

Paying his tributes, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a superior warrior and ideal king of the world. He said, even after centuries, people still get inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
