Water tanker scam: FIR against Arvind Kejriwal and Shiela Dixit

The Anti Corruption Branch of Delhi, ACB has registered a case against former Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with Rs 400 crore water tanker scam. 

Talking to reporters, the ACB Chief M K Meena said, the FIR have been filed against Mrs Diskhit on the basis of report of fact finding committee of Delhi government which was forwarded to the ACB by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.

Jung forwarded the report related to water tanker scam linking former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to the ACB for further investigation.

The report of the fact finding committee was earlier sent to Mr Jung by the AAP government for probe by either the CBI or the ACB following persistent demand by BJP leader Vijender Gupta. Mr Jung has also forwarded to the ACB a complaint filed with him by Mr Gupta accusing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of allegedly suppressing the committee's report into the tanker scam for 11 months.
