West Bengal govt announces financial assistance for victims of Kashmir attack

The West Bengal Government has announced 5 lakh rupees compensation to the families of each victim who were killed in the terrorist attack in Kashmir day before yesterday.

Condemning the killings of 5 labourers from West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee assured the families of the victims all kinds of help.

The West Bengal Governor Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar also expressed



shock over the killings. Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury blamed the centre for the attack on the innocent labourers. He visited the homes of the victims at Sagardighi in Murshidabad District of West Bengal yesterday to console their family members. Representatives of different political parties also visited the houses of the victims to express their concern.
