West Bengal govt to launch in-house radio stations in all 57 correctional homes in State

The West Bengal Government has planned to launch in-house radio stations in all 57 correctional homes in the state. The State Correctional Home Minister Ujjal Biswas said that the decision has been taken after the success of a pilot project at the Dum Dum Central



Correctional Home recently. He said that plans are aimed at ensuring better living conditions of Jail inmates.

The Minister said that, an NGO with the help of Jails Department will train Radio Jockeys.
