West Bengal govt urges protesters to cancel ‘droho carnival’

West Bengal Government has requested the protesters to withdraw their proposed ‘droho carnival’ today on the day of the government’s carnival programme. 

Following state chief secretary Manoj Pant’s meeting with the doctors’ association at



Swasthya Bhawan, Shri Pant informed the media that an e-mail had been sent to the junior doctors in this regard. To ensure law and order strict security measures have been taken and police deployed in the carnival area.
