West Bengal Guv swears in 6 newly elected TMC MLAs

The Governor of West Bengal Dr C V Ananda Bose has administered oath and affirmation to the six newly elected members of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly yesterday. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also present on the occasion at the Bidhan Sabha in Kolkata. The six MLAs have been elected in the recently concluded by-election in the



state. 

All the six MLAs are from Trinamool Congress. Sangita Roy from the Sitai constituency first took the oath. Then Jayprakash Toppo from Madarihat, Rabiul Islam from Haroa, Sanatan Dey from Naihati, Sujoy Hazra from Medinipur and Falguni Sinha Babu from Taldangra assembly constituencies took oath and affirmation.
