The West Bengal has received more than two Lakhs 84 thousands 288 crore rupees investment proposals in the Bengal Global Business Summit. The two day long summit ended in Kolkata today. Announcing this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that around 10 lakhs employment will be generated by this industrial proposals. She also informed that 86 Memorandum of Understanding were signed during the summit.
The huge number of industrial proposals
have poured in as the state is safe destination for investment, she said. Ms Banerjee said that MOUs have been signed among Universities of State and their counterparts at different places of globe in various fields.The captains of industry from 22 countries, trade and business delegation from different parts of the country took part in the fifth edition of Bengal Global Business Summit .
