Senior BJP leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his commitment of providing regular monthly pension to farmers, small shopkeepers, farm labourers and other small earning peoples above 60 years of age and monetary assistance to all farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman scheme if the NDA is voted back to power.
Addressing a public meeting in Khargone in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister said that in the past 5 years, we have increased the speed of work to make a strong system from seed to market for farmers and we are fully committed to double the income of
farmers by 2022.
Mr. Modi also said nobody can touch the land of those living in forests, till he and the BJP are there.
Prime Minister Modi will also hold meetings in Indore, Khandwa and Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh today.
State Election Commission will deploy runners to it about the voting percentage in far-flung booths, where no mobile network is available.
Our Bhopal correspondent reports that around hundred runners have been specially trained in Khandwa district for the purpose.
