Woman injured in Pakistan's unprovoked firing along LoC

In Jammu & Kashmir, a woman was injured after Pakistani forces resorted to unprovoked firing from across the LoC in the wee hours in North Kashmir's Kupwara district today. 

The injured woman has been hospitalized.

Security sources told that a ceasefire violation was



reported from the Keran sector of Kupwara district following indiscriminate firing by the Pakistani forces around 4 in the morning. 

They said the exchange of fire lasted nearly 45 minutes. The Indian side responded in a befitting manner.
