Won't participate in BDC polls: National Conference

National Conference yesterday said that the Party will not participate in upcoming Block Development Council (BDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir till Party’s detained leaders are released.

This was stated by Jammu Provincial President of the party Davinder Singh Rana, after meeting with National Conference President



Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah in two separate meetings in Srinagar.

The elections for 310 BDCs on party basis, will be held on 24th of this month.

Notification for the elections has already been issued on October 1.
