Gwalior: In Madhya Pradesh, World Sangeet Tansen festival is going to start from today. The festival will be organised till December 30th in Gwalior. This is the 97th edition of the festival. The stage of the program has been constructed on the theme of Siddhanath temple situated in Omkareshwar.
The formal opening of the ceremony will take place on Sunday December 26 at 6 pm.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the function. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Civil Aviation Minister
Jyotiraditya Scindia will be present as special guests.
State Culture Minister Ms Usha Thakur will preside over the programme. National Kalidas Awards will be presented in the inauguration ceremony.
A total of nine musical concerts will be held at the function.
All the programs will be held in 2 shifts, the morning will begin from 10 am to 3pm and the evening function will start from 6 pm to 10 pm. All the necessary guidelines of the COVID 19 protocol will be followed.
