The BJP’s poster boy in Uttar Pradesh and state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today announced that a grand statue of Lord Ram will be built in Ayodhya, said a report.

Yogi Adityanath said, “There will be a statue of Lord Ram here that would be a tourist attraction. Its particulars will be decided according to the land. The statue will be placed indoors, inside a temple. It will be a grand statue and it will become a signpost for Ayodhya.”

The Uttar Pradesh government last

year had announced that it will build a landmark statue of Lord Ram, but after which there were no talks about it. Even the UP government is yet to acquire land for the said temple. Yesterday, Adityanath announced the setting up of a new airport in Ayodhya named after Lord Ram and a medical college in the name of King Dashrath, father of Lord Ram, in the district.

He also kept the name changing spree on and announced that Faizabad district would henceforth be known as Ayodhya, with an eye on the upcoming elections.

This Bigot should be transferred from CM House to a Ayodhya's Grand Temple and henceforth be called a Chief Pujari rather than State Chief Minister.
