Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked the real estate sector to win the confidence of buyers by completing projects in time. Addressing the 'UP Ahead Conclave' in Lucknow, he said, it is imperative to win the trust of the people as the real estate sector is facing the challenge of meeting their expectations. 

The Chief Minister in a function organized by The Confederation for Real Estate Developers Association of India, CREDAI said that in Noida city buyers of all income groups are upset with real estate developers because they invest their hard earn money but in return don’t get homes in



time. He said that Builders are mostly interested in profit making and pass the buck to the government that is why there is a lack of faith in them. 

He lamented that in Noida and state capital Lucknow most builders are involved in illegal development where no basic facilities like water and sewerage are available. The CM warned that the government will act under RERA law if builders do not mend their ways. On the occasion he also stressed the need for affordable housing and said that his government will facilitate construction of 2 lakh houses for the poor this year.
