Vijayawada: YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday finalized the second list of coordinators for 27 assembly and parliament constituencies, in the run-up to the 2024 General Elections in Andhra Pradesh. The list was released by education minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

The first list of assembly and parliament constituencies had cleared 11 names. The new coordinators will be party candidates for the 2024 on YSRC tickets.

Minister Satyanarayana said the chief minister drafted this final list after extensive discussions. "CM Jagan aims to win 175 out of 175 assembly seats. To that extent, if any candidate is weak, changes and additions are needed to make the party strong and ensure its victory."

He said Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked all party members to contribute to the success of that goal and that all of them will be given due recognition in the days ahead.

YSRC sources said it is clear the list has been designed with the aim of social equality. Many people have been displaced in the latest list. Also, the successors of many MLAs got in-charge posts. The responsibilities of the assembly constituencies have been handed over to the MPs.
