Zoji La Pass connecting J&K to Ladakh opened for vehicluar traffic

Srinagar: Zoji La pass, which connects Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh, has been opened for vehicular traffic for the first time ever in January. In a significant boost to connectivity in the Ladakh region, 72 vehicles crossed the Zoji-La pass for the first time ever on January 2. The development is a stellar achievement for Border Roads Organisation (BRO),



as it will provide the crucial link between Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh even during the peak winter season.
