Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with simplicity and solemnity across the country yesterday amidst Coronavirus pandemic.

The faithful offered prayers and thanksgiving Namaz in their homes instead of congregating at Eidgahs and Grand Mosques in compliance with nationwide lockdown norms. People also prayed the Almighty to free the world from the pandemic.

Perhaps for the first time, Eidgahs and mosques wore a deserted look on Eid day as the religious and other large gatherings are still prohibited under lockdown-4.

Several Muslim clerics, leaders, scholars and prominent personalities had appealed to people to offer Eid prayers at their homes adhering social distance.
