Hyderabad: As many as 32 MLAs have been suspended for the whole period of the monsoon session of the Telangana Assembly. Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary on Monday suspended 32 MLAs of the Opposition parties including TDP, Congress, BJP, CPI and CPM for the rest of the current session.
Soon after the session assembled, the House witnessed
pandemonium as several MLAs raised slogans and surrounded the Speaker's podium demanding a debate on the farmers' suicides in the state.
The Speaker announced the suspension after Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao moved the proposal. As the MLAs kept demanding the discussion continuously in chorus, the Speaker ordered their suspension.
